"Pilgrims of Hope" is the theme of this Jubilee Year. Pope Francis, in his Apostolic Exhortation Gaudete et Exsultate, reminds us that the powerful witness of the saints is revealed in their lives. They radiate a positive and hopeful spirit. Each saint is a mission, to reflect and embody a certain aspect of the Gospel. This book, Pilgrims of Hope: The Lives of One Hundred Saints, invites us to contemplate the courageous witness of the saints to Christ and their unwavering hope in the midst of suffering, that we too may be strengthened and illumined on our own journey to become true Pilgrims of Hope in our time.
